Facilities range from simple vacuum chambers and a 1 metre water column to an automatic hydrostatic pressure cycling test vessel with a maximum pressure of 60 bar.

 

Robustness of Terminations

A range of jigs, fixtures and equipment provide adequate testing facilities for tensile, bending, torsion, compression and torque tests.

 

Microsectioning and Visual Analysis

We are able to perform visual analysis of items with a suite of tools consisting of microscope, image analysis system and colour printer.

Items such as connector pins and electronic components  may be microsectioned and encapsulated, so that their surfaces may be ground and polished for inspection.  We have a Bausch and Lomb microzoom microscope with X1200 magnification to inspect the sectioned surfaces.  An RMC-D3M Image system is used for off-screen measurement and co-ordinate analysis, and full colour hard copy prints are available.

This facility with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and graphic enhanced machine tools is also available.

We design and manufacture a wide range of products. These include Prototype Models for customer exhibitions, test equipment for use in automotive and computer industries. Fixtures can be linked to computer controlled data analysers designed and built by the Abtest Limited engineering facility. General tool room work can also be offered with fast delivery dates.
